TAPESTRY| Abide in Christ
What are you connected to?
In week two of **Tapestry: Core Values of a Healthy Church**, we look at one of the values that shapes who we are at New Life: **Abiding in Christ — rooted in Him, bearing fruit, and equipped with gifts.**
Jesus tells us that He is the vine and we are the branches. We were never meant to produce fruit, find strength, or live out our calling apart from Him. As we remain connected to Christ through prayer, Scripture, worship, biblical community, and obedience, He does the transforming work in us.
Abiding isn’t something we do occasionally—it’s a life of staying connected to Jesus. As our roots grow deeper in Him, the Holy Spirit forms Christ-like character in us, produces fruit through us, and equips us with gifts to serve others.
We are messy people woven together by a mighty Savior, and He is still redeeming our stories—one by one, all for His glory.
