Our vision is to see kids discovering, living, and sharing Christ!
Our mission is to partner with families in building a firm foundation of Christ-centered living within their children, where kids are encouraged to pursue a personal relationship with God and are equipped to minister His love to others.
Our passion for kids is reflected in the safe, loving, and fun environment we provide your children, as well as in the solid biblical teachings they receive through a dynamic classroom experience.
We are serious about partnering with you in the ministry of your children here at New Life Church! We send home information each Sunday with your child to let you know what they have been learning, and how to help reinforce those biblical principles at home. We also provide a periodic newsletter especially for parents of preschool and grade-school age kids, full of helpful insights, encouragement and ideas to build your child’s faith at home.
We have a great Children’s Ministry Team here at New Life Church!
Our Nursery is led by our paid Nursery Ministry Staff, who provide excellent care for your newborns and toddlers, up to 24 months. These staff serve in our Nursery Room each Sunday morning to provide your little one with the consistent care they need, and to help them learn that church is a safe place to be!
We have a wonderful volunteer Preschool Ministry Director who oversees our preschool ministry classrooms for kids age 2 through age 6 on Sunday mornings. Our volunteer teachers serve in their classroom for a full month, and then are off for 2 months before serving back in the classroom again. This rotation allows them to connect with the kids in their classroom, but also provide them an opportunity to attend our adult worship service.
Our Kid’s Life Team allows volunteers to assist and lead with our Kid’s Church service once on month as we provide a dynamic service just for this grade-school group of kiddos!
We have a friendly and welcoming Check-In team, and many others who assist with special events, other ministry programs, or help out “behind-the-scenes”. Each one of our volunteers are a valued member of our team, and help to make our Children’s Ministry an effective ministry of Christ!
Volunteers are required to be members of NLC, must pass a background check and take a child safety training course as part of their application process. If you are interested in volunteering for any area of Children’s Ministry, please send us a quick email and we will be in touch with you right away!
